In this workshop, you will create three types of traditional nerikiri wagashi (Japanese sweets). You’ll make beautifully delicate designs inspired by Japan’s nature and seasons—such as cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, and snow—as well as charming character-shaped sweets that are fun and unique to craft.
With kind and attentive guidance from the instructor, you’ll learn the basic techniques of wagashi making while experiencing the elegance and artistry of Japanese culture in a delicious way. Once completed, you can enjoy tasting your freshly made sweets on the spot.
